Location: Bournemouth
Project: Re-Cladding Scheme Occupied Residential Block (60 Flats)
Salary: £35,000 + Package (Permanent) or Competitive Day Rate (Freelance/Part-Time)

Blaymires Recruitment is proud to be working with a specialist Facades Contractor based near Romsey, currently seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support the delivery of a significant £2M re-cladding project in Bournemouth.
The works involve upgrading and replacing the existing cladding on a live, occupied site comprising 60 residential flats. This position is available on a permanent, freelance, or part-time basis.

The Role
As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the vital link between the construction team and the residents, ensuring clear, consistent, and compassionate communication throughout the project. Your key responsibility is to manage resident relationships, minimise disruption, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the duration of works.
  • Communicate the scope, timeline, and potential impacts of the project clearly and effectively.
  • Prepare and distribute resident letters, updates, and other written communications.
  • Create and manage a Residents\’ Charter.
  • Maintain accurate logs of complaints, queries, and resolutions.
  • Attend and coordinate resident and client meetings.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the site and project teams.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to support your role.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) role, ideally on occupied sites.
  • Background in construction or working with contractors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Empathetic, patient, and solutions-focused.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Competent in basic IT systems (email, Word, Excel).
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
