Robert Half is delighted to be working with a highly rated business in Bristol to recruit a skilled and detail-focused Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record daily financial transactions to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Manage accounts payable and ensure suppliers are paid promptly
- Reconcile client bank accounts and compile monthly financial reports
- Prepare VAT returns
- Support the creation of Service Charge budgets and forecasts
- Use accounting tools such as QuickBooks to streamline financial record-keeping
What We\’re Looking For:
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred, but not required)
- Previous experience in a property management setting (a plus)
- A strong grasp of accounting standards and financial regulations
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping
- Demonstrated experience in a similar bookkeeping position
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
