We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Warranty Engineer to join our clients team based in the Birmingham area.
Our client is a leading, well established plumbing and heating contractor looking to expand it\’s warranty aftercare team with the appointment of another engineer due to continued growth and success.
This role is offered on a permanent basis, therefore meaning you\’ll be employed directly by the client, full time.
What you\’ll be doing:
You\’ll be required to visit a number of developments in and around the West Midlands area that our client has completed installation work on to conduct new build warranty repairs in relation to plumbing and heating systems.
Majority of the work is low level and may only require a faulty value changing, fixing a leak or replacing a part in a faulty boiler.
It\’s a steady number with work booked in advance to allow the preparation and allocation of work.
The role will see you visiting a number of different developments where multiple low level jobs will be booked for that day and require your attention, if work cannot be completed that day due to parts/materials being required it will be reallocated to a different date with the office responsible for ordering material.
You\’ll be meeting homeowners face to face so an excellent level of customer service is required at all times.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM.
Hours can be made flexible for the right candidate.
Pay:
£38,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years plumbing experience
- A knowledgeable, all rounder
- Domestic Gas qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer / IT literate
