The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Washington area. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.
Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:00-09:00 starts (average of 10-hour shifts).
Pay Rate:£15.28 per hour PAYE.
Location:Washington
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
Physically demanding role you\’ll be responsible for loading and unloading your own vehicle.
Equipment provided: tail lift and pump truck.
7-9 stops per day on average, focusing mainly on collections from commercial customers.
You\’ll use your phone to download the companys app for managing collections.
No assessment required! Simply attend an informal chat with the client, followed by a short induction on your start date.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Be accustomed to a manually intensive role as this role can be quite demanding.
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
