CNC Setter Operator
Knaresborough, £13 p/hr, immediate start available
This well established engineering and manufacturing company in Knaresborough are seeking a CNC Operative to operate their wire bending machine.
The role will initially be temporary, however this could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
The role:
- Setting up and operating CNC machine to bend and shape wire according to programmed instructions
- Ensuring the machine is set up correctly, the wire is fed correctly, and the bending process runs smoothly, producing parts that meet quality standards
- Continuously monitoring the machine\’s operation during the bending process, making adjustments as needed to maintain precision and quality.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
The Person will:
- Have previous experience of setting and operating any CNC machinery, training will be provided on wire bending machines
- Have strong attention to detail to ensure high quality
- Be willing to learn and develop with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Anyone from a metalworking, tube bending, press brake background would be of interest to the role
Hours of work: 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday
28 days holiday
