Salary: Circa £45,000 Depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Configuration Management and Change Control for complex legacy products
- Support to programmes Configuration Control Boards on a regular basis
- Manage programme records in SAP, notably Engineering Change Requests, Part Numbers, Duplicate Parts
- Update Engineering Documents, most likely Engineering Test Specifications, as directed by the Submarine Support Project Engineering Manager
- Provide Engineering support across the submarine Motion Control programme

- Working knowledge of SAP to support engineering Configuration Management and Change Control
- Understands technical drawing conventions, and the application of Computer Aided Design
- Good communication skills involving the exchange of technical information with others, typically engineers
- Develops solutions to common or well-articulated Configuration Management and Change Control situations, problems and issues

The Submarine Support Motion Control Team:
BAE Systems Submarine Support Motion Control Team provides comprehensive service and support to mission critical Motion Control Systems for the Royal Navy’s submarine fleet. This role will provide the opportunity to work within an experienced, diverse, and highly motivated project team.
