The company has been established for many years and offers an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere, with very experienced engineers. The company has a full range of support and maintenance offerings, together with Cloud systems, Cyber Security, and new network installation capabilities.

This exciting role covers a blend of internal (remote) and external (on-site support/client visit) duties, with a 75/25 mix of reactive (general day-to-day maintenance, support and troubleshooting) and proactive (installations, upgrades, refreshes, helping with pre-sales) work. Being a small company, the job is varied; you will cover 1st through 3rd line support - effectively solving any client issue that arises - though the position will play to your strengths and utilise your abilities. Working in a small team, you will support and get to know a wide cross-section of clients and be part of the extra project work this entails. The company is very adaptable and to serve the needs of its clients, the environment is such that you will be able to learn different technologies to best enable support and delivery.
Candidates must have worked in a customer support role for a systems firm or an end-user environment supporting a range of technologies and possess a good working knowledge - support, troubleshooting, installation and upgrading - of:
- Office365
- MS Azure
- Windows Server
- VDI platform

- Exchange and SQL Server
- Virtual machines, HyperV
- General networking and infrastructure architecture, including communications devices - hubs, routers, etc.
- Email and antivirus systems
- PC hardware
- PowerShell advantageous
Candidates must own their own car but travel is fully expensed and clients are typically only across the Poole - Bournemouth - Christchurch area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, professional support team, offering a pleasant working environment. Salary to £40,000.
