A well-established, multi-franchise automotive group based just outside of Leeds is seeking a highly capable Senior Dealership Accountant to lead the accounting function across a group of retail sites, initially on a contract basis.

Within this role, you will work closely with each dealership accountant to consolidate the full accounting cycle and financial reporting for the dealerships, working closely with site management and senior leadership to provide insightful analysis and maintain financial control.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA); qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Have proven experience as a Dealership Accountant (multi-site experience an advantage) with strong understanding of motor retail operations including sales, service, and F&I.
  • Be professional, hands-on, and commercially aware as well as confident in producing accurate, timely financial reporting under pressure.
  • Be skilled in Excel and dealership management systems such as Kerridge and/or Autoline.
