School cleaner – Leeds

Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)

Hours: 3:00-6:00pm (hours may vary)

Are you an experienced Cleaner looking for your next challenge? The Supply Register is proud to be working as a managed provider on behalf of a multi-academy trust in West Yorkshire; we are recruiting for this exclusive role and are seeking an experienced, passionate and friendly individual who has professional cleaning experience. This school is looking for somebody who has a can-do attitude and will work enthusiastically.

Please note that previous experience in a cleaning in a professional environment ideally in a school is essential for this role.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deep cleaning toilet facilities
  • Sweeping floors
  • Mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas
  • Emptying bins
  • Damp-dust surfaces
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.)
  • Clean and wash windows and glass internally, ensuring they are smear free and dried properly
  • Wipe down desks and chairs, making sure stubborn smears are removed
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

In return we can offer:

  • Salary is paid to scale weekly through PAYE

Requirements:

  • Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
  • Must be able to provide two professional references which cover the last 24 months of work/study periods
  • Previous experience in a cleaning in a professional environment ideally in a school is essential
