We’re working with a well-established M&E contractor delivering high-spec residential and commercial projects across London and the South East. They’re now looking for an experienced Access Control Systems Engineer to support ongoing works across key sites in Kidbrooke, Brentford, and West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable engineer with 5–6 years of experience looking for consistent work, a strong pipeline of projects, and a company that values technical quality and professionalism.
The Role:
- 1st and 2nd fix installation of access control systems across new-build and refurb sites
- Working with Paxton, Hikvision, BPT, Fermax, and other leading brands
- Running and terminating low-voltage cabling (CAT5/6), fitting readers, panels, mag locks
- Working alongside electricians and project teams to ensure clean handovers
- Occasional commissioning and troubleshooting depending on experience
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum 5–6 years’ experience working on access control or security systems
- Solid background with door entry, mag locks, readers, and structured cabling
- Strong attention to detail and site standards
- ECS card (essential)
- Own tools & full PPE
- Driving licence preferred but not essential if local to sites
