Position: Electrical Buyer

Location: London

Work Pattern: Contract – Hybrid

We\’re recruiting for a Electrical Buyer to be responsible for purchasing electrical components for the construction and rail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Supply chain management – building relationships with existing & new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain & update a supply chain tracker, with all key details included, such as supplier specialty, agreed payment terms, credit limit, any applicable rebates.
  • Monitor monthly spend with each supplier
  • Liaise with the Commercial & Accounting departments to forecast costs weekly & monthly.

Qualifications

  • Construction industry experience buying electrical components
  • Ideally experience in Commercial, Industrial or Rail sector
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • Good MS Office Excel, Word, Adobe
  • Good communication and organisational skills
