The Schools People is a provider of HR & Employment Law Consultancy and DPO Services to Schools, Academies and Multi Academy Trusts. Through our parent company Schools Advisory Service we also support their clients with advice on Occupational Health matters and this year are launching the Doctor HR service to provide that added value.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Schools People Senior Business Partner in HR & Employment Law principally, but knowledge of GDPR, and of the management of Occupational Health matters in education would be an advantage. The role is located in home-based (we set you up) but travel across the NW and more widely is required to support clients on-site. The Senior Business Partner will be responsible for delivering HR and Employment Law consultancy to clients, covering the full range of education HR and employment law issues. Ability to contribute to our DPO service to clients or to the Doctor HR service would be welcome.
Qualifications
- Strong HR and Employment Law knowledge in the sector knowledge
- Experience of employee relations casework
- Experience of working with trade unions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Experience working in the education sector
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred or willingness to commit to own CPD
- Knowledge or experience of GDPR/DPO services or advising on Occupational health questions advantageous
