Systems Administration IT Manager (Linux SysAdmin teams) *20% of the job requires technical knowledge from a Linux Systems administration perspective 80% managing a SysAdmin team, managing process, organisation, procedures, documentation, reports, reporting to head of it and the business leaders* Our client (a Leading Fintech) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Technical Manager to join their team. You\’ll have good solid technical experience (Linux Administration) with demonstrable experience in Team Management (20% Technical Knowledge, 80% IT management) They would like to see someone who can continue creating good structure, plan work and resource needs. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a mission-critical Linux infrastructure, leading a team of both senior-level administrators and support desk staff. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Good knowledge with RHEL-based systems, including installation, ongoing management, monitoring, performance tuning, system security hardening, etc. The successful candidate will manage both the Linux internal support team as well as a senior sysadmin team of experienced professionals.
