The Role: We are seeking a highly capable Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding delivery team. The right individual will be a strong communicator, a proactive organiser and problem-solver who takes ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover. You will be delivering fast-paced, technically complex projects across Europe, working closely with experienced engineers, directors and construction teams to meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical projects, from planning through execution to final completion.
  • Collaborate with engineering, BIM, procurement, and QA teams to ensure design compliance and quality standards.
  • Track project progress using internal systems, maintaining tight control over cost, schedule, and scope.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor performance, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure HSE compliance.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Lead on budget control, forecasting, and commercial reporting to senior leadership.
  • Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with directors and site teams to manage risk, resolve issues, and drive successful outcomes.
  • Support and develop a collaborative team culture across departments and projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project or Contracts Manager in the Mechanical or HVAC sector.
  • Background as a project engineer with deep knowledge of mechanical/process systems.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex projects in regulated or high-tech environments.
  • Clear, confident communicator with excellent client-facing and team coordination skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with an ability to manage budgets and drive value.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required for project delivery.
  • Full driving licence.
