Contract Assignment: Administrative Assistant – Global Transaction Services

Pay Rate: £27.50 per hour PAYE

Location: London, UK

Contract Length: 6 months (initially, rolling)

Hybrid Split: Initially full-time in the office; moving to 1 day working from home once training is complete

Must be able to contract via PAYE/Umbrella. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive diary management, including organising internal and external meetings
  • Coordinating complex UK and international travel arrangements
  • Scheduling conference and video calls across global time zones
  • Submitting expenses using Concur, in line with internal policy
  • Developing knowledge of senior leadership team priorities, clients, and workflows
  • Establishing effective communication with internal stakeholders and external contacts
  • Handling sensitive and confidential material with discretion and professionalism
  • Managing inboxes on behalf of senior leaders, prioritising and responding appropriately
  • Planning team offsites and internal events
  • Providing support cover for other administrative team members during periods of leave or high workload

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a senior leader and their team within a fast-paced, high-performing financial services environment. The role requires a confident, proactive individual who is highly organised, adaptable, and able to build effective working relationships at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience either providing admin support simultaneously to multiple senior C-suite executives/supporting multiple investment bankers at an investment bank
  • Previous administrative experience within financial services or a similarly fast-paced, professional setting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Professional, polished, and reliable approach

Preferred:

  • Prior experience supporting executive leadership
  • Familiarity with the Concur expense management system
  • Experience planning complex travel itineraries and multi-party meetings

Additional Information:

This role will require full-time office presence initially, with flexibility to work from home one day per week following completion of training. All offers will be subject to background screening prior to commencement.
