The Platform Engineer contributes to the implementation of core infrastructure and security services on the clientβs chosen cloud platforms. This role helps deliver highly available and scalable services, develop automation for time-intensive processes, and ensure security and compliance across the cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, self-service capabilities, infrastructure-as-code, auto-scaling solutions, and DevOps deployments.
- Support the architecture and implementation of infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code practices under guidance.
- Serve as a technical resource for peers and junior engineers, offering mentorship and support.
- Participate in maintaining platform tools and components within a DevOps framework, including monitoring system health, availability, and latency, and assisting in timely troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with QA teams and technical writers to support end-to-end development and release cycles.
- Help build, test, and integrate complex system interfaces, working alongside the team on advanced integrations.
- Contribute to improved developer experience by providing guidance, observability, and automation, empowering teams to work autonomously.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer environments and addressing escalated issues.
- Support efforts to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, strengthening the overall security posture.
