We are entering a period of significant transformation across both the institution and its IT Services. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Developer / Software Consultant to guide our Corporate Systems team through this change. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our development and integration capabilities, ensuring we are equipped to meet evolving organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a strategic review of current development and integration practices across Corporate Systems Support, Development, and Projects.
- Act as a technical mentor and change agent, supporting the upskilling of internal teams and embedding best practices.
- Improve existing and implement new processes around our SDLC.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing skill sets and identify gaps in capability.
- Design and implement a roadmap for improving development workflows, integration strategies, and system resilience.
- Provide expert consultancy on modern software development methodologies and tools.
- Work closely with implementation partners to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer and reduce reliance on external handovers.
- Support the department in navigating a broader organisational restructure, aligning technical direction with strategic goals.
