Barrington James' specialist R&D division are currently recruiting for a (Senior) MEMS Inertial Sensor Engineer to work for an innovative organisation based in Bristol, UK. This is a permanent opportunity and will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the design of MEMS sensing structures and liaise with external partners such as foundries and test development houses
- Design test structures and define design rules
- Complete layout verification
- Initially you will have the core responsibility for the design of the sensors
- Suggest and discuss system (e.g. design, functionality) improvements
Must-have qualifications & skills:
- Bachelors / Masters / PhD in Physics or Engineering
- Strong analytical background
- MEMS design and production scale-up experience (3+ years preferable)
