Our expertise includes certified fire door manufacturing and the creation of luxury bespoke wine storage units. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our dedicated team.
The Role: This is a hands-on workshop-based role ideal for a joiner with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision. You will be working on a variety of projects, including the assembly and finishing of fire-rated doors and the crafting of custom wine units tailored to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble fire doors to industry standards and certifications
- Build bespoke wine units using hardwoods, veneers, and specialist finishes
- Interpret technical drawings and cutting lists accurately
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bench joiner in a workshop environment
- Strong understanding of fire door construction and compliance (preferred)
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with luxury or bespoke joinery
- Knowledge of fire door certification processes
