Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled HOD Carrier / Bricklayer's Mate to assist with grinding out and repointing work on a busy construction site in Cramlington. This role is ideal for someone with solid site experience supporting bricklayers, especially on detailed restoration or maintenance projects. You'll play a key part in keeping work moving efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting bricklayers with grinding out and repointing tasks
- Preparing materials and maintaining a tidy work area
- Mixing mortar and assisting with tool handling
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
- Working closely with the bricklaying team to meet project deadlines
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Green accepted, depending on experience)
- Previous experience as a HOD carrier or bricklayer's mate on similar projects
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under minimal supervision
