A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Lead to join the team on a landmark commercial development in Central London. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile, multi-million-pound project as part of an established and highly respected construction business.
The Role:
The Electrical Package Lead will take full responsibility for managing the electrical installation across a large-scale commercial scheme, from early-stage design coordination through to final commissioning and handover. Working closely with the MEP Project Lead and site delivery teams, the successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the electrical package on a major commercial project
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive progress and resolve technical issues
- Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and industry standards
- Coordinate design intent with installation, ensuring alignment with programme milestones
- Oversee subcontractor performance, H&S compliance, and quality assurance
- Support testing, commissioning, and successful handover to the client
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience managing electrical packages on large commercial construction projects
- Background working with Tier One or Tier Two main contractors or reputable M&E subcontractors
- Strong understanding of BS7671 and other applicable electrical regulations
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering (degree, HNC/HND)
- SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally First Aid certification
