We’re working with a leading Utilities organisation for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to join their growing Capital Maintenance Projects team. This role is central to delivering MEICA and Civil engineering solutions across both Clean and Wastewater Assets—above and below ground across London.

The role:

  • Lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects, from scoping through to construction and final handover.
  • Manage procurement processes, engage with framework suppliers, and oversee subcontractors for site-based activities.
  • Directly manage and mentor Project Engineers, ensuring team growth and capability.
  • Provide expert support on estimating, programming, and strategic planning to streamline delivery.
  • Ensure all projects meet client specifications, with minimal disruption to site operations.
  • Champion regulatory and legislative compliance, including CDM, Health & Safety, Environmental, and HR standards.

Requirements:

  • Commercial and technical experience in engineering; ideally educated to degree or HND level in engineering or business administration.
  • Strong background in engineering project management with proven delivery across MEICA and Civil environments.
  • Expertise in contract management, supplier engagement, and commercial negotiations.
  • Effective leadership skills with a track record in resource management and team development.
  • Deep understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations, with a safety-first mindset.
