New UK Compliance Manager opportunity working with a market leading global insurer. Reporting to the Head of Compliance UK, you will manage and coordinate compliance activity acting as compliance business partner to assigned business units and/or functions. As an extension to this, you will provide proactive and reactive advice, breach and incident management, regulatory change, regulatory liaison, the Business Compliance Framework and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of compliance and ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
  • Provide regulatory, legal, and policy advice, including on new products and distribution.
  • Track and analyse advice to identify and address emerging compliance trends.
  • Support breach and incident reporting and resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with UK regulators through collaboration and submissions.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes; support implementation.
  • Maintain horizon-scanning and compliance planning records.
  • Contribute to the UK compliance plan.
  • Support cross-functional compliance and business projects.
  • Represent Compliance in governance meetings.
  • Maintain compliance frameworks, including risk registers and profiles.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and scheduled reviews.
  • Deliver and support training and awareness activities.
  • Provide support to the Head of Compliance and act as deputy when required.

  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry; Appointed Representatives; and Consumer products.
