Velocity Tech has partnered with a leading Lloyd’s Market insurer to appoint a Senior Product Manager to drive key digital and data transformation initiatives. This is a senior role, responsible for shaping product strategy, managing the roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with business goals. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with technology, data, and business teams to deliver value across underwriting, data governance, and digital capabilities.

- Workday experience (essential) – direct experience managing Workday-related initiatives or enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Prioritise product features and manage backlogs, ensuring delivery of high-value outcomes.
- Lead discovery and delivery phases, collaborating with engineering, design, and data teams.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and prioritisation.
- Champion agile ways of working and continuous improvement across squads.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, aligning product goals with business needs.
- Ensure clarity of epics, user stories, and technical requirements for delivery teams.
- Line manage or mentor product owners or analysts as required.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager within an IT / data-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Lloyd’s Market (non-negotiable).
- Strong Workday platform experience (non-negotiable).
- End-to-end experience of the product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.
- Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping and data analysis (SQL, Excel).
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and product adoption strategies.
Desirable
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or BCS Business Analysis certification.
- LLMIT or CII qualifications.
- Degree in Computing, Engineering, Maths or related field.
