Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a leading accountancy practice with multiple offices across the Southwest. Our client is experiencing continued growth and is now seeking Corporate Tax Managers and Corporate Tax Seniors to join teams across several locations in the region.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality corporate tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate groups. Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will play a key role in managing compliance processes, advising on tax planning opportunities, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage or support a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring timely delivery of compliance and advisory work.
  • Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities including group structuring, R&D, capital allowances, and international tax issues.
  • Support or lead client meetings and maintain strong, proactive relationships.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and support their development.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge within the team.
  • Contribute to business development and internal process improvements.

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or part-qualified for senior-level applicants).
  • Strong corporate tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
  • Organised and detail-focused, with excellent time management skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach.
