Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of Nottingham’s leading building services businesses in their search for a Mechanical Contracts Supervisor, with a particular focus on Commercial Gas Engineering. The ideal candidate will be no stranger to working with mechanical systems and will have a background in gas engineering and facilities maintenance. Predominantly work will be Midlands based, but with some nationwide travel when required. In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive an excellent starting salary of up to c£55,000 D.O.E., significant career progression opportunities in line with company growth, and other fantastic benefits.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out effective delivery of PPM reactive maintenance
- Perform troubleshooting and finding faults with current systems
- Monitor and manage the performance of engineers and subcontractors
- Allocate resources to meet client needs for reactive works
- Complete snagging lists and produce detailed fault and evaluation reports
- Advise on most suitable and cost-effective upgrades where possible
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Manage budgets for maintenance projects
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working with Building services, including electrical and mechanical systems
- Apprentice trained or HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer highly advantageous
- Demonstrable experience within previous maintenance role
- Effective communicator on all senior levels
- Formal trade qualification ideal but not essential
- Full UK Driving License essential
