Role Overview

The Wind Engineer shall deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services in the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating an ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while ensuring appropriate Engineering and Quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
  • Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to choose preferred supplier
  • Liaising with met mast suppliers
  • Organise and perform site surveys
  • Work on TSA and contracts with suppliers
  • Collate required information and documents for planning application of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of a degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics and/or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects NEEDED!
  • Experience in Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
