Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an organized CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist from a manufacturing background to take the lead in manufacturing high quality parts!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out CNC Milling operations as directed by production supervision
- Carry out Manual Machining operations
- Assist in the work carried out within other production areas
- The setting & operation of CNC machines
- Machining of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium & CuNi materials as instructed
- Manufacture work in line with the tolerances and dimensions stated on our drawings
- Participate with all ISO 9001 quality requirements as dictated by procedures
- Participate in the quality control process relevant to the work carried out
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of setting and operating machinery
- Have understanding of programming CNC machines
- Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Understanding of Metrology and the use of Metrology equipment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (desirable)
- Be IT Literate (desirable)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm
