Overview:

Our client is expanding their school transport service and are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Drivers to join their team from September. This role involves transporting students to and from school on scheduled routes.

We are particularly interested in drivers who can work both morning and afternoon shifts, but we are also open to offering separate morning-only or afternoon-only roles for the right candidates.

Working Hours:

  • Morning Shift: Approximately 3 hours (starting early AM)
  • Afternoon Shift: Approximately 2.5 hours (starting mid-afternoon)
  • Term Time Only (school holidays off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 16-seater minibus on designated school routes
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all student passengers
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs
  • Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle
  • Communicate courteously with parents, school staff, and students
  • Adhere to schedules and school safeguarding policies

Requirements:

  • Valid D1 category driving licence (without 101 restriction)
  • Clean driving record
  • Good punctuality and time management
  • Comfortable working with children
  • Reliable and professional manner
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check and safeguarding training

Desirable:
