A market leading and global company within the defence sector are looking for an SQA Engineer who has experience within embedded systems and throughout the full software development life cycle. You will be working with the latest embedded devices from major vendors in the development of complex embedded digital systems on both remote and user-based devices.
You must be process driven and be able to bring these processes to the wider QA engineering and software development teams to improve the quality of products and services to the end clients. This position is subject to security clearance and so all candidates must be British Citizens and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. Previous or current SC and DV clearance is highly beneficial.
Duties & Experience:
- Experienced in software quality assurance through the full SDLC
- Knowledgeable about software processes and process based design
- Lead Project Quality Assessments
- Identify risks, critical issues and opportunities of change
- Aware of National and International software standards and assurance requirements
- Work collaboratively and informatively with international cross-functional development teams
- Strong change, stakeholder and client management skills
- A degree, or relevant experience, in an Electronics or Engineering discipline would be ideal
