Our client is growing their design capability, embracing BIM modelling, and keeping design fully in-house. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Design Manager, manage your own projects, and progress to a Design Manager role within two years.
Key Responsibilities- Support design and delivery of drylining and ceilings projects using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with the Design Manager and BIM Coordinator on live projects
- Lead your own projects: 2D detailing and BIM model management
- Coordinate clash detection and resolve design integration via Navisworks
- Produce Stage 5 technical drawings ready for construction
- Maintain BIM models, including family component editing
- Work on site 23 days per week with flexible remote working options
- Strong Revit skills (family creation/editing, scheduling)
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and sheet management
- Experienced with Navisworks clash detection and resolution
- Ability to produce detailed Stage 5 technical drawings
- Drylining, ceilings, or related construction experience preferred
- Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative design environment
- Examples of Stage 5 or higher 2D technical construction drawings
- Revit models showcasing clash detection, schedules, and family components
