NonStop Care are working with a Good Ofsted local authority in the Berkshire area, who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their Children in Care & Leaving Care service! You will work with young people who are looked after by the local authority, care leavers & unaccompanied asylum seekers within the role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake direct social work responsibilities as an allocated worker to the children, young people and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
  • Investigating concerns regarding a child or young person's safety or wellbeing
  • Provide high quality reports which can also be within the Court arena, they will support and prepare workers in the Court process, including giving evidence as required

Requirements:

  • SWE registration
  • Vast experience working within children in care & care leavers
  • Up to date DBS
  • Drivers license
