CAD Design Technician, a new permanent vacancy has arisen for an additional engineer to join a highly experienced and successful team of designers based in Northeast Scotland. This newly created opportunity is best suited to a candidate who has invested in further education at either Degree Level Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Working for a global provider of mechanical manufacturing solutions to the energy sector, you will be rewarded with an attractive annual salary of between £50K + and a range of highly attractive employee benefits. Working 100% site-based, this position is offered on a full-time basis Monday to Friday, working in a combined mechanical engineering environment, fully involved in the development of detailed design drawings according to specifications and the applicable engineering standards. Preparing of graphical illustrations for marketing purposes required for Tools and Method drawings for clients once the purchase has been raised. As a CAD Design Technician, you will be involved in the preparation of quality documents to include engineering check sheets, final inspection, technical units, and project control documents. You will also participate in I-Mech. E-enrolment programs where required, using your SolidWorks and CAD experience.
