Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a highly experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy Litigation and Employment team based in Wokingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment, providing key secretarial and administrative support to fee earners handling a variety of civil litigation and employment matters. Role Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Litigation and Employment teams.
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence, legal documents, and court papers.
- Formatting and proofreading legal documents and bundles.
- Managing fee earners’ diaries, booking meetings, and arranging appointments.
- Opening and closing files, preparing bills, and supporting the client onboarding process.
- Coordinating court filings, deadlines, and important case milestones.
- Communicating effectively with clients, counsel, and third parties.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation and/or employment law.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and clients.
- Fast and accurate audio and copy typing skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail.
