We are seeking an experienced Excel / Financial Modeller to join an experienced Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to run and develop an Excel-based reconciliation process that bridges external bank statements with internal payment records, ensuring efficient production of reliable bank reconciliation reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and continuously develop an automated process to reconcile transactions between bank statements and internal payment records.
- Understand data flows across multiple systems, downloading and matching data to enable accurate reconciliation.
- Collaborate with banking teams to ensure all reconciliation breaks are resolved and properly understood.
- Refine and document processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Account reconciliation from primary data sources.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Excel modelling skills with high technical competence in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Specialist Knowledge: Demonstrable accounts reconciliation experience.
- Understanding of data flows in accounting systems.
- Communication: Strong communication skills at all levels.
