We are thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic care home in Chigwell that is searching for a dedicated and creative leader to head up their kitchen team. What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and mentoring a talented team of 4-5 kitchen staff

- Playing a key role in the overall dining experience for residents
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, chef or catering manager ideally within a care home or similar setting
- IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) training or demonstrable knowledge awareness
- A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or higher
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of dietary requirements and nutritional needs
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on residents’ lives
- The ability to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, including 1-2 weekends per month, with guaranteed weekdays off
