This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and work as part of a growing business that is prepared to invest in your future. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Operative to join our Operations team.
As part of our production team you will have the responsibility of operating production machinery to produce a range of products:
- Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies; Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and FEMAS management systems.
- Operating automatic machinery to produce products in line with production targets whilst ensuring all standards are achieved.
- Assist with improvements and efficiencies in all production aspects.
- Responsible for material waste management.
- Ensure that machinery is in a safe and satisfactory working manner before use by conducting regular pre-production checks.
- Responsible for reporting any machine faults to supervisor or maintenance team.
- Ensure effective housekeeping in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and maintained.
- Maintain files and records and provide quick accurate information when required.
- Ensure good relations and communications with all members and non-members of the team, providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner.
Education: GCSE qualification in Maths & English minimum Grade C or equivalent.
Experience: 1 years proven experience operating in a production/manufacturing environment. Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
