This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and work as part of a business that is prepared to invest in your future. We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehousing team. As part of our warehousing team you will be responsible for the receipt of goods inwards and outwards from the warehousing depot. Working alongside our production team you will be responsible for moving goods from the end of the production line to placement in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues;
- Responsible for the receipt of goods inwards and outwards;
- Provide an excellent level of service and support to the customer at all stages of the customer experience;
- Carry out fork-lift duties in a safe and efficient manner;
- Assist with stock reconciliation, ensuring stock control systems are up to date and inventories are accurate;
- Assist with improvements and efficiencies in all warehousing aspects;
- Responsible for material waste management;
- Ensure that machinery is in a safe and satisfactory working manner and conduct regular checks;
- Assist in the manufacture of ancillary products;
- Ensure effective housekeeping in accordance with company procedures;
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and maintained, ensuring quick & accurate information can be obtained when required;
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues to ensure a one team approach to deliver the company’s performance standards and the business objectives.
