The Sales Team:
The ESG Book Sales team is responsible for sharing our products with interested organisations. We identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients and strategic partners. Our clients include financial institutions, consultants, and corporates. To do this well, we need to understand our product offerings inside out and be able to communicate them clearly. We look for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and bring an entrepreneurial mindset. Creative thinking and initiative are highly valued here. We rely on each other and every colleague at ESG Book. Our approach is to stay humble and smart, and we’re all about delivering great results. Our goal is to spread the word about what ESG Book can do and support our clients with care and diligence.
Responsibilities:
- Shaping and contributing to the sales strategy and expanding our presence across the DACH market
- Representing ESG Book to financial institutions, corporates, and other stakeholders
- Help educate clients on sustainability/ESG and how they can use our data and products
- Developing and delivering plans that meet sales goals
- Creating and reviewing materials for both internal and external use (e.g. presentations, marketing content)
- Managing existing client relationships and acting as their main point of contact
- Using market insights and feedback to ensure our offering meets client needs
Requirements:
What Skills You’ll Bring (and build on in the role)
- Native German speaker (spoken and written); other language skills are a plus
- A strong network within the financial sector, especially banks in the region
- A real passion for sustainability and a desire to drive industry progress
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of financial institutions
- Solid sales experience, ideally focused on sustainability or financial data solutions
- A consistent track record in leading regional sales roles and meeting (or beating) targets
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take ownership of your schedule and projects
- Great communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively
