We’re excited to represent a world-renowned luxury interior design studio in the heart of Central London, now seeking a visionary Associate Interior Designer to join their senior leadership team. Role Overview

As an Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in directing large-scale projects from concept through to completion. You will lead teams, steer creative development, and uphold the studio’s design vision while driving operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the studio's Director, you’ll also help shape the growth of the studio by nurturing talent and cultivating key relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide creative direction and leadership across multiple high-end projects, from initial concept to final delivery
  • Create compelling design presentations, storyboards, material palettes, and visual narratives using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Lead design reviews and present confidently to clients, brand reps, and consultants
  • Oversee the full production of technical and architectural drawings using AutoCAD
  • Guide and mentor multidisciplinary design teams through all RIBA project stages
  • Manage detailed design documentation including joinery, finishes, and FF&E
  • Lead site coordination, joinery workshops, mock-ups, and snagging processes
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, balancing creative and commercial priorities
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and generate new project leads
  • Stay current with building regs, sustainability standards, and luxury market trends
  • Represent the studio at national and international industry events

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years’ experience in high-end hospitality and/or F&B design
  • Proven track record leading teams of 5+ across all project phases
  • Strong conceptual thinker with refined aesthetic judgment
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills; proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and MS Office
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding presentation and leadership abilities
  • Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and highly organised
  • Collaborative, proactive, and able to inspire teams at all levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing client expectations and reporting
  • Familiarity with international design projects and multicultural client bases
