JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Account Manager, Territory Manager, Account Manager – Food Service, Food Wholesale, Dairy Products As our Key Account Manager you’ll be selling a range of dairy products into wholesalers and end users such as pubs, restaurants, care groups, bakeries, dessert parlours and the education sector. You’ll be managing your own diary and attending meetings to assess your clients needs and compile business plans to build long standing relationships. Your main responsibility will be to nurture and grow the accounts in the territory, but you’ll also need to identify and develop new business. With your experience of food service / food wholesale you’ll be used to working in a ‘push and pull’ capacity. You’ll also: · Be responsible for c50 accounts within the territory, all varying in size up to £1million · Follow up and convert new business opportunities · Work with your clients sales teams to educate them on our products · Attend trade shows to help grow the brand PERSON SPECIFICATION: Key Account Manager, Territory Manager, Account Manager – Food Service, Food Wholesale, Dairy Products Ideally, you’ll have a background within Food Service / Food Wholesale and know the types of decision makers you need to speak to. You’ll have experience of growing and nurturing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. This isn’t a ‘quick sell’ role, we’re looking for long lasting relationships with valued clients. You’ll have knowledge of leading meetings, creating business plans and presenting to clients. You’ll be well organised and plan your site visits accordingly, managing your own diary to ensure you maximise your account base.
