The role forms part of the Husqvarna UK field sales team, managing the specialist Forest and Garden machinery Dealer Network across a specified regional territory.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

  • Implement company sales and marketing strategies within the territory.
  • Achieve sales turnover and margin targets for the territory.
  • Manage and grow the dealer business within the territory.
  • Ensure dealers comply with the Husqvarna Selective Distribution Agreement (SELDIS).
  • Achieve coverage across all product categories with all dealers within the territory.
  • Manage trade marketing activities to encourage sell-through within the dealer network.
  • Oversee dealer payment behavior in line with Accounts Receivable Department guidelines.
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence.

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Previous sales and account management experience (Garden machinery or other industries).
  • A team player who can work independently and has a self-starter attitude.
  • Commercially astute, numerate, with an understanding of pricing, costs, and profitability.
  • Shows initiative and a desire for development.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
