We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rope Access Supervisor Level 3 / OPITO Rigger to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of loads in line with industry standards. The project, removal of 2 diverter valves, is due to last 7 days with a return trip after 6 weeks to reinstall the Diverter valves post refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex rigging operations in accordance with OPITO Level 3 standards
- Supervise rigging operations and rigging teams
- Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with lifting plans, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain rigging equipment and ensure proper certification is in place
Requirements:
- Valid OPITO Level 3 Rigger Competence Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of rigging experience in the oil & gas or heavy industry sector
- Experience in 16” Valve removal
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid offshore survival and medical certificates (if applicable)
