About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a key leadership role for the Financial and Management reporting team. This opportunity will contribute to our mission to improve financial performance across the business and report financial information to both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to lead and drive the performance of the management accounting team, with the aim of providing accurate financial information to assist the business in achieving targets. Principle Accountabilities
- Manage the month end reporting process and reporting financial results in accordance with Group driven timescales.
- Assist the business in preparing and providing accurate cost and revenue forecasts and budget information to stakeholders.
- Enforce and assist in monitoring the internal financial controls across the business.
- Continuous development and improvement across the various finance processes.
- Lead the external audit requirements at interim and year end.
- Manage and prepare where required, the external compliance reporting covering tax and regulatory reporting.
- Manage the payroll submission process to allow sufficient review time and to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Assist in frequent ad-hoc tasks from various of the business both within JFD and also across the Group.
Knowledge, Qualifications And Experience
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS or ICAEW qualification preferred).
- Experience of manufacturing / engineering business.
- Experience with Consolidated Group Reporting.
- Hands-on and flexible approach.
- Proven track record in managing a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
