Do you have the drive and passion to make a real impact? We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our matchday squad. As a Safety Steward, you’ll play a key role in the Club's matchday operations team, helping to deliver a safe and professional matchday operation for all LCFC supporters attending the King Power Stadium.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with supervisors to deliver requirements in relation to duties
  • Being proactive in always delivering safety arrangements
  • Assisting with and being aware of the safety, security, and service needs of all spectators
  • Ensuring compliance with the conditions of entry as set out in the ground regulations and safety certificate
  • Controlling or directing spectators who are entering or leaving the ground
  • Monitoring crowd movements and density within viewing areas to prevent overcrowding
  • Identifying and reporting potential hazards
  • Responding to conflict and alerting the Ground Safety Officer when appropriate
  • Responding to incidents and communicating to Stadium Control
  • Undertaking specific duties in an emergency or as directed by the Ground Safety Officer
  • Assisting the emergency services as required
  • Describing accurately and recording incidents for future reference
  • Being confident and competent in the use of technology and aids supplied by the Club
  • Attending a pre-match briefing prior to the King Power Stadium opening to the public
  • Continuously monitoring and reporting any issues or incidents through the match day lines of communication
  • Delivering a safe match day experience through an effective stewarding service
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal safety, customer service, and dress code throughout
  • Understanding the general Health and Safety requirements towards all categories of spectator
  • Responding to issues around inclusion and discrimination in any form
  • Ensuring compliance with Ground Regulations

Whilst no previous experience is necessary and all training/qualifications will be provided, the ideal candidate will be confident in public-facing roles, have a passion for customer service, and understand the critical role that our matchday team has in promoting a safe environment for supporters.

Please note that matchdays typically fall on evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, so applicants must be prepared to work on such days/times.
