Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. We are currently accepting applications for the HVAC Department. Specifically, we are looking for an instructor for an evening Fundamentals of Refrigeration course. This class is scheduled on campus.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study in HVAC technology, engineering or technical education.
  • License/Certification: Must hold and maintain a current NH Gas License and Section 608 Universal EPA Certification.

Although we are accepting applications for the HVAC Program, we may not have an immediate need with someone with your background and experience. Your information will stay on file and active. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. The Vice President of Academic Affairs will determine adjunct levels. Adjunct level will be determined based upon Education and Experience. Rates for Fall 2024 will be:

  • Level 1 - $800.00 per contact hour for the course
  • Level 2 - $875.00 per contact hour for the course
  • Level 3 - $950.00 per contact hour for the course

  • Submit your application with cover letter, resume/Curriculum Vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and copy of unofficial transcripts. Please note that if hired, official transcripts will be required.
