  • Utilise your technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with group accounting policies and financial controls;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on new business initiatives (including system changes) to ensure financial reporting impacts are understood and financial controls remain robust;
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure your team are investigating reconciling items in a timely manner as they arise;
  • Deliver continuous improvement over processes and controls performed by your team through simple process changes, using data to your advantage or automation tools.

Let's find out about you: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant - an audit background or experience within a fast-paced corporate business would be preferred. Confidence presenting to and liaising with people at all levels. Experience of delivering through others. Proactive ability to quickly prioritise and make decisions. Commitment to developing and stretching your own skills. Great analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think laterally and challenge the status quo. Experience using digital tools such as Power BI or SQL code would be advantageous.

  • Company pension up to 7% matched;
  • 15% colleague discount in store and online;
  • Free access to wellbeing services such as Wagestream, 24/7 virtual GP, counselling, health and dental cash plans and a 24/7 employee assistance helpline, alongside discounts across a range of services and activities, from airport parking, enhanced to theme parks and cinemas;
