The Opportunity
We are looking for a 2+ PQE UK qualified lawyer to join our Commercial and Privacy team. In this position, you will assist our growing number of diverse clients with a varied range of commercial, privacy and general corporate work. LegalVision's clients operate in a range of industries, including SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, construction and recruitment. Our ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the UK's data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), as well as consumer laws.
This position is ideal for a mid-level lawyer with broad commercial and privacy law expertise. You should have experience in efficiently managing workflows and matters in a fast paced, high volume environment, and effectively communicating directly with clients.
We'd love for the successful candidate to be based in our Manchester office, but we’re happy to consider remote work options for the right person.
How You’ll Help Clients
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, IT and software contracts, IP and licensing agreements, contractor agreements and referral agreements.
- Drafting and reviewing privacy policies and internal privacy manuals.
- Advising on the GDPR, including responding to data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications.
- Advising on UK consumer laws.
- Advising on company structuring, and preparing articles of association and shareholder agreements.
- Assisting clients with general corporate governance, such as share splits, share issues and transfers.
