As Shift Leader, you will work with the Branch Leadership Team and colleagues to support the Area Manager in ensuring that your branch is Health, Safe and Legal at all times, maximising efficiency, availability, and delivering great service to our customers. This is a fast-moving, challenging role that provides great exposure to our vibrant customer base, allowing you to influence the service we provide. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful team and kick-start your career in Food Wholesale.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening, closing, and managing the complete operational running of the branch, making decisions prioritising health and safety.
- Supporting a Health, Safe and Legal culture; keeping colleagues informed of H&S and Security updates.
- Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
- Leading by example, embodying the Code of Business Conduct and Win Together Behaviours.
- Living the PRIDE values within the branch and focusing on delivering excellent availability and service.
- Supporting colleagues during induction and training.
- Building and maintaining positive internal and external relationships.
