Reporting directly to your General Manager, the Operations Manager oversees, manages, and monitors the daily activities of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 45-hour week.
Salary: £38,250 per annum.
Key Duties of an Operations Manager:
- Oversee, manage, and monitor daily team activities.
- Develop, train, and support your team to meet high standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including WTD and SSWs.
- Maintain awareness of responsibilities related to health and safety, data protection, and other policies.
- Analyze departmental operations to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
- Make decisions in the best interests of the company and clients; escalate issues when necessary.
- Delegate effectively by leveraging team members' strengths.
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Lead by example.
- Participate in and organize relevant training for team development.
- Work with the General Manager to define departmental values and mission.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive company culture encouraging high morale and performance.
- Oversee reporting, planning, and target setting on various timeframes.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Identify and address operational problems and opportunities.
- Encourage open communication between employees and management.
- Foster continuous business improvement.
- Manage daily operations of the team.

- Minimize operational expenditure where possible.
